QP-nano™ for eZ430-F2013

Quantum Platform Nano™ (QP-nano) is an extremely lightweight state-machine-based software for real-time embedded (RTE) systems. QP-nano™ allows engineers combining hierarchical state machines (UML statecharts) into concurrent, event-driven applications and directly implement such applications in highly maintainable C without big tools.

The eZ430-F2013 evaluation board from Texas Instruments is ideal for evaluating QP-nano™. In fact, the standard distribution of QP-nano™ uses the eZ430 for demonstrating hierarchical state machines, real-time framework, and even a tiny preemptive kernel. Licensing and Download

The following downloads are available under the terms of dual licensing, which works as follows: Initially, you download the source code and documentation under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL) reproduced below. Please note that GPL can be restrictive, because it requires (in Section 2[b]) that your own code based upon the GPL software must also be released under the terms of the GPL ("reciprocity"). If GPL doesn't meet your needs, you have an option to license the software under different terms of Quantum Leaps commercial licenses, which are specifically designed for customers interested in retaining the proprietary character of their code.
